We believe theory lessons should be a fun and educational experience, which is why we use modern teaching methods that keep you actively involved, whether you choose group or individual lessons.
Group lessons
Group instruction for a Category B driving licence is a form of driver education where you take part in shared lessons with other learner drivers, in small groups of max. 6 students. It allows you to learn at your own pace while gaining a solid understanding of everything you'll be tested on.
Theory lessons
The course package runs over 8-10 weeks. New groups start roughly every 4 weeks, alternating Mondays and Wednesdays, 16:00-19:00. Groups fill up quickly, so sign up early if you're interested.
Practical lessons
Practical lessons build on the theory - between each theory lesson you'll drive the corresponding practical lesson. Driving lessons are arranged with your personal instructor and normally take place on weekdays between 08:00-18:00 (08:00-17:00 during the winter months).
- Small groups of max. 6 students
- New group roughly every 4 weeks - Monday or Wednesday
- 45-minute lessons, usually 2 lessons at a time
Individual lessons
An individual course is for you if you can't attend a fixed group due to work or similar circumstances. Lessons are tailored to your schedule and typically take place 1:1 or 1:2 - both in theory and practice.
Theory lessons
Theory lessons normally take place on weekdays between 08:00-14:00. An individual course usually runs for 4-12 weeks, depending on how flexible your schedule is and how it fits our calendar. Start dates are arranged as needed - contact us for more information.
Practical lessons
As with group lessons, practical lessons build on the theory. Driving lessons are arranged with your personal instructor, normally between 08:00-14:00. Night driving can take place after 18:00, at the earliest 1 hour after sunset.

The course package
The Danish National Police has set a minimum requirement for the number of driving lessons for everyone completing driver training. We call this the course package. The price of a driving licence may vary depending on how many extra lessons the individual student needs.
Theory lessons
Classroom lessons covering traffic rules, road user behaviour and road design.
Maneuvering track
Lessons on the practice track, learning the basics of car handling and control.
On-road driving lessons
Lessons in real traffic, focused on safe and independent driving.
Advanced driving technique
Lessons on the skid track - including low-friction surfaces and evasive manoeuvres.
A maximum of 4 theory lessons and 2 driving lessons may be conducted per day. Maneuvering track and advanced driving technique lessons may be completed in one continuous course. The course concludes with the driving test - a theory test and a practical test - and the theory test must be passed before the practical test can be taken.
What's not included in the course package

Medical certificate
Approx. 200-500 DKK, paid directly to your doctor.
Exam fee
1,000 DKK paid to the state for the driving test.
Car rental
Renting a car for the driving test itself, added to your invoice.
Extra lessons
Charged by agreement, and settled before the driving test at the latest.
First aid course
Mandatory course - we run it ourselves, every Saturday or Sunday, 09:00-17:00.
Course material
450 DKK for online theory material plus optional practice tests.

Driving licence in English - good to know
Group lessons take place in small groups of max. 6 students, with new groups starting roughly every 4 weeks. Individual lessons are 1:1 or 1:2 and tailored to your schedule, ideal if you can't attend a fixed group due to work or other commitments.
A minimum of 29 theory lessons, 4 lessons on the maneuvering track, 16 on-road driving lessons and 4 advanced driving technique lessons - 53 lessons of 45 minutes in total. This is a minimum; most students need a few more lessons along the way.
Yes, there is an English fee of 2,000 DKK on top of the standard course package price, to cover English-language instruction. See the full, up to date price list on our English prices page.
Yes. A mandatory traffic-related first aid course is a requirement before you can obtain a driving licence. We run the course ourselves, so you can complete it in the same place as your driving lessons.
The meeting point is, as a rule, always our driving school at Vedelsgade 85A, 7100 Vejle - whether you're attending theory, the maneuvering track, or an on-road lesson.
